Mathematics and data
Graphs and vectors
NumberPlane, Axes, VectorArrow, ScatterPlot, and PlotLegend produce composable 2D graph elements.
const plane = NumberPlane([-5, 5], [-3, 3])
.step(1)
.gridStyle("#273142", 0.012)
.axisStyle("#8b96a8", 0.025)
.build();
Matrices and semantic focus
const matrix = Matrix([
["2", "-1", "0"],
["-1", "2", "-1"],
["0", "-1", "2"],
]).cellHeight(0.44);
this.play(timeline((t) => {
t.animate(matrix).duration(0.8).focus(matrix.row(1), { color: "#5cd0b3", dim: 0.28 });
t.animate(matrix).at(1).duration(0.8).focus(matrix.diagonal(), { color: "#f0ac5f" });
t.animate(matrix).at(2).duration(0.3).clearFocus();
}));
Selections include rows, columns, cells, diagonals, anti-diagonals, predicates, and set operations (union, intersect, except).
Animated linear algebra
BasisExplorer2D, ProjectionDiagram2D, LinearMap2D, DeterminantArea, and MatrixVectorFlow recompute mathematical geometry from timeline state. See the five curated examples under examples/maths/linear-algebra/.
Vector fields and traces
VectorField, StreamLines, circleSeeds, and TracedPath support time-dependent fields and deterministic histories. TracedPath rebuilds its polyline from absolute time rather than accumulating prior frames.
Curves and surfaces
Axes3D, ParametricCurve, and ParametricSurface support sampled 3D mathematics. Surfaces can render solid, wireframe, or textured modes, accept custom color functions, and animate write progress.
Fractals
FractalPath batches recursively generated line segments into one reusable Tattva. KochSnowflake, SierpinskiTriangle, and FractalTree provide built-in generators, and continuous iteration state supports deterministic growth animation. See Fractals.
Word clouds
WordCloud places weighted labels deterministically without overlaps. Entries can opt into horizontal or vertical orientation, and the built-in animation sequence spells out featured terms before pausing, filling the screen, and erasing the result. See Word clouds.
Maps and Fourier helpers
Map projection helpers interpolate equirectangular, sinusoidal, Mollweide, Hammer, and Mercator projections. Fourier helpers convert a clean geometric π outline or sampled formula outline into epicycle terms.
